Custom table styles
Custom tables allow a user to select a predefined table in custom colours and formatting e.g. header row, totals row, first column, last column, line formatting.
The picture above shows two custom table styles added to the built in Table Styles drop down on the Table Design ribbon tab, this is very useful for users who produce large presentations in corporate branding.
Selecting the custom table style will reformat the table as below
Custom colour palettes
Custom colour palettes enable users to select colours from your corporate branding rather than the default colours. The picture shows two rows of graduated colours. The colours can be named or you can use the RGB values.
PowerPoint add-ins
A PowerPoint add-in was developed with a custom ribbon to enable the use of utilities for the automation of common tasks with the following options:
- create custom tables formatted for text or numbers
- reformat existing tables for text or numbers
- utilities for highlighting columns
- increasing/decreasing font size and reformatting existing tables
